Karizma's Journey: From Cult Survivor to Advocate for Healing and Awareness
Gina Blue (aka Karizma Speaks) is a survivor, writer, and advocate dedicated to exposing the hidden dangers of cults and empowering others to heal. A former member of the Israel United in Christ (IUIC) religious cult, she created Tales from the Cult to share her story of leaving IUIC in 2018 and to shed light on the abuse, harassment, and defamation survivors often face.
Passionate about social issues and personal growth, Gina rebranded her platform as Karizma Speaks, expanding her focus to healing, awareness, and empowerment. She earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Healthcare Management (Magna Cum Laude) from Colorado Technical University in December 2025.
Her work has been recognized internationally. Gina was featured on BBC News and The Murder of Joy Morgan documentary that they subsequently released. Helping with their investigation into the murder of Joy Morgan, a devoted IUIC member from the UK who was killed by an ex-leader of an IUIC church that was established in London.
Additionally, Karizma is the author of the Cult Recovery Guide, a micro-guide that is available to help survivors and families begin their healing journey. Her debut memoir, Tales from the Cult, will be released on October 31, 2026 on Amazon and via her PayHip shop.
In addition to raising awareness, Karizma supports families affected by cults and religious abuse, offering free resources, consultations via phone and email, guidance, and cult education. Through her YouTube channels and digital platforms, she continues to speak out against destructive cults, manipulative influencers and leaders, and toxic celebrity culture, helping to amplify the voices of the vulnerable and inspiring others to reclaim their power and faith in Jesus Christ.
